To be honest, I had tunnel vision. I think there may have been a couple of them there. This place is just North of Indianapolis if anyone is interested. I just found his e-mail address on ebay and asked if he had anymore 20s or 30s cars.

Hey Assdragger, that's Biker Greg's model - pic from last year's SoCalNats NNL... the chopped red drag version is mine! Well, I sold it to a buddy now, but I built it.

    I e-mailed you the numbers.

I paid $1200 for it, does that seem like too much? I thought it was pretty good, but what do I know?

Sweet! I just landed an A frame with front suspension, rear axle and spring, transmission, a bed, and a pair of '30 sedan quarterpanels for $350. Oh, and he tossed in a nice painted '30 grill shell in with it. I think this ball may be rolling now.

So, um, have I gotten a good deal? I don't mean to be cheeky or annoying or anything, I'm just curious.

The guy with the T is selling a T body with no doors or back panel for $150, so I think I am getting that too. I'll see how much junk I can collect before I piss my landlord off.

i don't think i'd set the motor back in the real deal but i otherwise TOTALY dig this model aswell. the chop FRICKIN ROCKS!!! and you could do an open roof or closed. i like your idea of keping it canvas. build a wood perimeter and some slightly curved bows then pull the canvas over that....

HMMM, your not too far away. i might like to check this bugger out and maybe lend a hand. i really dig those Ts. ifinya decide to chop it let me know and i may be able to help ya out. email me.... kustombuilder@earthlink.net

does'nt sounds lieke a bad deal at all for as solid as that body looks. i'd say it was a FAIR price. not a smokin deal but not a rip off either. check your PMs, we need to talk... i'll just email you if you have your address listed in your profile......

You know, now I'm not sure what that grille shell is. I have an old R&C with a Model A spotter's guide, and it doesn't look like any of those shown. Instead of the curves in the top of the opening, it is straight across. Is this a commercial shell?

Nevermind. I think it is a commercial shell. I found one on ebay just like it.
