Hey everybody, just wanted to share pics of my new project in its new home of Jacksonville FL. I bought it from a fellow HAMBer, Drag'n 59.
Cool..i love 63 chevy's..had two Impala's within the past two years..one SS one plain two door hard top...sold the HT last year and the SS a few month's ago and already miss it.. Any plans fo rit, or just gonna drive the wheel's off?
I bought a "63" Impala wagon for $200 15 years ago. My wife hated that car. 283, auto, p/s, p/b, posi rear. Installed new brakes and a battery and drove the snot out of it. Hauled 5 kids, bikes, sleds, basically used it like a truck for 5 years and then sold it for $800. By then she had changed her mind about the old wagon. I miss it, but my wife does not question my old car purchases anymore. Old wagons are getting hard to find, have fun with yours.
I hate that I had to get rid of it, but you know how all that goes. Good luck with it Jason. I want first dibs to buy it back, if you ever decide to sell it.
Congrats!!! looks like it could be a fun car, just add family and friends after you put your personal twist on it of course...........
Cool wagon mang! What are yer plans for it? As the Big T-miester said... there are some of us in Jax. Feel free to let us know what kinda beer you drink. Later, Dave
Thanks for the welcome guys. Plans right now are to replace the floors, fix a little electrical issue and drive the snot out of it. No problem Stephen, I'll give you first dibs if I sell it. Thanks for everything. Jax guys, I'm up for hanging out and wrenching anytime. I've been looking for some local guys. Jason
Wow all the way to Florida. I was trying to get my brother to by that car. Very cool wagon and good luck with it bro.
Makes me think of my old '63. They're a lot of fun...been thinking about getting another one for a while.
