We're planning on taking it to El Mirage this month so we're hustling daily to get it ready. Hey Justin you wanna' ride around with me out there so I can pretend we ran out of gas out in the boonies
only if i can shift for you while you operate the pedals for me, seriously though the car is looking great. i'm sure the word has gotten down there that i got a new turd to drive, well in a week or so once the bugs are worked out. i might putt it out to the lake instead of the 34, it'll deffinetly get better gas milage.
Thanks Piero! The one thing I wished we had done on the little RPU was flattie/'39, so I got my wish on this one Spill the beans on the new ride Justin!
Mikey fabbed a crossmember which is bolted through the frame (Removable) and used speedway cushions/bolts. To keep the unsplit bones Mikey and another club member Joe fabbed a new ball mount and used a couple shims for oil pan/bones clearance. It's a pretty basic yet functional setup that utilizes all the stock Model A crossmembers.
Finished! Sorry for the crummy pics, I'll grab some better shots when I get a chance. Of course I had to include a pic of Mikey and his girlfriend Cindy since he literally built this car from gound zero. Luckily we both shared the exact same vision of what we wanted. Mikey is one hell of an early Ford wizard and fabricator (Even if he won't admit to it).
I was going to offer you a suitcase of Michelob Ultra for it... Maybe some fried pork rinds. too damn cool Joe - Bring it to Foster's this month - Jan 21st!
sour cream and onions, snack size, but the bag is almost empty now, so i'll throw in a couple slightly used sharpies with the deal......................... or i could just post that, um, special picture from the roadster show on here
Nahhh, let's not show the evidence of my occasional black-outs here man Good times, good times... ...Hey could I interest you in a slightly used mini-bike??

Thanks for all the compliments fellas! I just realized that the interior pic is before the column tube and horn ring were installed. I'll get some better pics this weekend during my continued shake-down of the car.
