    Looking at the front, I see 2 things you can do for dirt cheap that would make a major impact on the grille area. 1st, I'd paint the lower area behind the grille semi-flat black. It gives a more finished look. That's probably just me in most cases, but it looks unfinished when there's body color behind a grille.


    2nd, if you just spray a thin coat of the same color over the turn signal that are molded in they'll almost go away. 1 very thin mist coat will still allow the light to shine through but in daylight will be almost gone. You've made some really nice changes already. I like it a lot.

    Just had a thought....(dangerous!!)..You wanted to remove the glued-on wood from the sides,how about paint the wood body color til you feel like re-doing that area?

    I know it's not the proper way, but with the right shade of red, and maybe some accent pin stripes????
