Wow, that is a really good looking car!

I like the chop top and pancaked hood on Ray Vega's. The hood deffinitly needs the cutting.

  3. Are those 39 Studebaker headlights on the red one and the black one? If they are, now I know why they are so F@#$in expensive.

Chopped Carson stlye top, taildragger with zypher skirts. Deep dark paint, white top. Think Westergard style.

Hell, I'd adjust the stance to make it right, paint it marroon or black and do the top in a cream, some fender skirts and call it good. That's a *****in' car, that I wouldn't even think of cutting up...but that's me...

Wow, I just visted this thread I did a while back and it is funny how things change over time. I still have this car and plan to have it for many many years. Eventhough i thought I wanted to make it a Kustom I ended up going a different route with her. Either way I am enjoyinmg the car and it is always evolving into what I hope to be my own style. Just thought you guys would like to see how it has changed since the day I brought it home

Yeah--you're doing good so far. Love that body style. A friend of mine back home in Nebraska found one in a gully while on a hunting trip. He was a talented bodyman, mechanic, etc. and altho it took a while he brought it all the way back. Happy for you, man.

Very nice! Looks like a 'survivor' hot rod from back in the day. I really dig it. Nice work!
