Started working on this 49 about 3 weeks ago, it started out for the wife but now I think she gets to drive the 31 when its done. Anyways, first chop, what do you think?

I started with 5" in the front and about 7" or till "I" thought it looked good in the back, I'm by no means a pro at this, so I guess thats why I was looking for some feedback. I'll get some better pics tomorrow after I clean up a bit. You dig the wheels don't you.!..

That chop is sick! First one no way. Most people take too much out of the back in my opinion but this one is perfect. Is it going to stay hard topped?

That is a very nice flow on the roof you have created, perfectly proportioned. And a very nice corner on the C-pillar.
When you do get the car outside to look at it, make sure you make some photos and show them here. I walso would love to see the whole car to get an even better feel for the overall proportions.

Great work for a first chop!

Motor, I have a SBC w/ 2-4's, kinda like an old Corvette set-up, 350 trans. keeping it real simple/clean.
Suspension, well right know its blocked in the back and no springs up front. I'm trying to get the doors, window openings all done so my buddy can do all the body work while I 4-link the back and clip the front, I will get front, back, side to side...;)

That shoebox looks so good. That is one wicked chop for a first timer. Good luck with it!
