I just got a call from my dad this morning ...he was back for a family reunion in Wisconsin from Washington state and said he would look for an old vintage motor for my 34 chevy rpu project...I was hoping for a 348 or old olds from one of the kins farms.....but to my surprise he said his brother who has been laid up for some time wants to give him his complete 35 chevy truck, he checked it out and all the woood is perfect,the doors open and shut ...windows roll down...has an IFS front...not my choice and has primo fenders..I am a fenderless guy but if they are in good shape then I will build my 34 into a rpu and my newer 35 into a more mild custom...I will post up some pix when he trailers it back.....how sweet is that...joe
hmmm, thanks for the tip.... i assume he'll be driving past me in spokane on I-90, so i'll just keep an eye out and hi-jack him for that fendered ride, (since your a fenderless dude and all) just foolin' ! rightous find, hope you get it done i really like chevy trucks of the 30's. ken
