Man that sucks, but glad the car is not a total loss. IT's going to be a pain in the butt, but I'm sure before long things will settle down and you can get to the buisness pulled of pulling your buisness, shop, and car back together (not necessarily in that order!). From the looks of the pictures the important things are still good. The fact that you could back it out is amazing. Think of it this way - when the car is on the road again you will have a story that will trump all of the BSers and tire kickers around. Not many cars can claim fire survivor status. Hang in there dude!
Not the most effective way to strip paint.... But seriously, fire is some scarry shit that I want NOTHING to do with... I hope everything goes well from this point foreward.
Sad to hear about the ride. Dunno about anyone else, but if the car is perfect and the fire is not close enough to kill me it'll take more people than they have to keep me from getting to my things that they care little about. "Let it burn buddy"... well F.U. "buddy" catch me if you can. I know the time window I have to work with before it's too late and it's very short, until then piss off and let me get my car! Having grown up with firefighter buddies, I know as long as the wind is steady blowing the other direction I'll make it to the car and back out. If there's no wind I have 45 seconds to hold my breath and run like hell.
