Thanks catfishdog. A quick answer to your question is all of the above - but not on every picture. The one thing that is pretty much always present is the fact I would never (or hardly ever at least) shoot without a polarizer. I also shoot brackets for HDR although I don't always use them. I'll pm you with a more complete answer.

Thanks also el_bole and Cincinnati Slim and of course Dr Dave and Roger. The 54 Chevy was parked 3 cars in front of Jack's CCR14-0738.jpg

I started a thread on this Custom after Goodguys Indy last year. It was deleted for being "way, way off topic".

My intent for the thread was to hear everyone gripe (entertaining for them and me). I would say the paint scheme and roof is out of traditional tolerance, but the rest is what a Custom is all about.

I kind of remember there being Rat Finks on the trunk and a big one under the hood.

Dan, I always like your photos.

Thanks All American 6. While I don't think it's perfectly traditional, and I may not have made all the same design choices, it is custom enough in my book and has a lot of great featuresl

  17. Great pictures as always Dan! Are you going to the Leadsled Spectacular in Salina again this year?

Dan, a great shot of the 3 amigos from 3 states.

Dave, you need a new wing; not just bigger walls.

Thank you OG lil E, Herb (39-2dr) and Gary. OG lil E - I am for sure going to Salina for KKOA unless something totally unforeseen prevents it.

After seeing pictures of Dr. Daves office, I think he should have car shows there. After finally seeing pictures of it when David and I were hanging out at the show, It makes me want to move and get dental work done even if I don't need to.

Here is a shot of everyone lined up early in the morning at Edwards Drive In

  25. Unfortunately I only have 11 parking spaces so it would be a pretty small show. LOL The city plans to build a park behind it, so maybe someday. :)

I heard that there were 11 awards given out. Who were they
and what car did they show? Who was the trophy from?

Twochops - I emailed Kevin to try and find out for you. Dr. Dave - it would still be a fun show even if it were small.

Some awesome photos but the '48 Plymouth was a real circus wagon in my mind. I don't think the P15 body style lends itself to the toothy grille look too well.

Now that Stude was way over the top, but it still all worked pretty well.

The chromed engine bay on that '57 Chevy is way overdone to me. It's like looking into funhouse mirrors. You don't really see things except for reflections.

Yeah but you have Ace Hardware & Fred's across the street, which can hold hundreds of cars. Plus there's that guy selling Yellow Snow right outside your window. D)

Dave, may have a solution. Apply for a street closure. And when we show up the streets will be closed for sure.
