Jerry Stanley from Iowa----The owner of String of Pearls mentioned he was gonna put more of a traditional hubcap on the car as well as removing the spotlights and installing different side mirrors.

 

At this I believe it's owned by someone on the east coast. I'll try to contact Jack Walker this week.

 

Making changes to that car may hurt the value in an auction setting.

 

Sometimes it not about the money. I'm happy that it's a survivor. Make the changes and show the car. I would like to see it up close again. It's a very nice 41 Ford. Enjoythe car.

 

Thanks stanlow69 and herb. stanlow69, you quoted the picture of the 1951 chameleon colored Ford. Is that also owned by Jerry Stanley?

This is Scott Peavy's very cool 1956 Chevy.

 

Walter Leeman's 1951 Chevy Fleetline

 

The 56 Chevy is owned by Scott Peavy from the Indy area. He is about 4 or 5 years older than I am . I told him at the show I envied him because In the early 80`s I`d see him cruise around the the leadsled events with two hot chicks in the front seat. He was still in high school and his Chevy looks as good today as it did back then. And it received a lot of magazine coverage.
