Thank you all for the thoughts & prayers, if rough seeing him the hospital... The Doctors were intouch with my family today.. Dad does have bladder cancer.. Doesn't look like it has spread to any other organs at this point.. Dad is 80 and is really good spirits. They will be doing a bone scan also at some point.... He did request some car magazine... Went and bought new Hot Rod Deluxe , and Rod and Custom for him. I have a punch of back issue Hot Rod Deluxe I'm taking to the hospital with me on Saturday..
Your dad is in our thoughts and prayers, dads are what define who we are. Always show him how you feel. I didn't when mine was alive, now I'm payin' the price... bowtie40
I so sorry to hear this my friend. As one of your oldest friends I feel you pain. It is very tough seeing someone you love in a dire circumstance. You know I just went through it. Keep me posted and I will talk to you soon. Hope he is not in a lot of pain. My thoughts are with you my friend-Dale

Went and saw my Dad with my buddy Shawn this morning... Dad is in really good spirits, he enjoyed all the magazines I brought him. I will find out more today, my Sister and Mom are out visiting him now... He already wants to get out of Madigan Army Hospital. Again many thank you's all for the thoughts and prayers...Hey Dale , give me a call when you have some time ... Trying catch up on things around my place today....
Just little update, on my Dad.... so they removed a catheter he didn't like what so ever.... They is a chance today they may discharge him from the hospital... He will have to come back for a bone scan as a outpatient... Then its a wait and see for more results on test. Thank you again for the Thoughts and Prayers....

Dad was discharged on Sunday from the hospital.Which he was very glad about. We have more test coming and the bone scan (nuclear medicine) Thank you all for keeping Dad in your thoughts & prayers. God bless you all!

Little update on my Dad, since I hadn't posted anything on his condition. He took a small turn for the bad last week. He stubborn old guy and fighter. This past Memorial Day took on extra meaning for me while sitting in the hospital with him and my family. Seeing all the other vets here along with my Dad. Make me extra proud of the service to our country they gave. Please keep my Dad & all our vets in your thoughts & prayers.
Good luck on it all. Those old guys are tougher than most give them credit for. Raised with a different mentality.
