my 1960 bel air that i started on earlier this summer is up and running the 235 was getting tired so i found a 1969 250 with the aluminum 2spd power glide and put her in had to modify some linkage for the gas pedal, shifter, carb, and kickdown.the drive shaft had to be redone to retro fit the new trans and replaced the radiator the original was done for picked up a brand new off ebay for 109.00 shipped to my door and it was a direct fit aluminum one too. i want to thank the people who helped me with some info that i asked one of the pictutres shows my working conditions i do not have a garage just a oversized shed that i can do my motorcycles in during the winter months.
