Steve, The nailhead coupe does it for me. BTW I like yer avitar. If you or I ever owned those cars we would NEVER sell um
Yeah Rich.....gone but not forgotten!!! I have access to an early hemi and also a nailhead....but you know how I luv dem SBC's!!! Here is a pic of the car in 1989 approx.......mocked up.
I know where there are some new ASC rails to go under that thing...and they are local. Let me know if you are needing some. BTW- nice score!
Hey Steve, I think that nailhead deuce belongs to Aaron Kahan(spelling?) of the Burbank Choppers. That's Verne Hammond's 34 right next to it. Try to get a hold of somebody from the choppers maybe even Keith Weesner, they might be able to tell you how much it's chopped. If that's his car, I'm pretty sure it is but I've been wrong before.
Thanks man...but it came with a complete ch***is that he built using stock rails. It looks kinda crude, but the fab work is very usable with good welds. I'm gonna change a couple things on it, but nothing major.
mang you got a hot rod and all i got was this lousy divorce. even got the heater workin in the 57 today, i shoulda hit the road 4 the pileup. oh well maybe next year. good score man.
uh, you go on to the pile-up like a good little boy and i'll be up to get the coupe.......you just don't know how much fun you are missing bike boy! good for you! nice score! i've been thinking of a gl*** 5w since i don't think i can afford/or find a steel one........oh, one day i'll way up and there will be one in the front yard......
WOW that looks 'NICE!' id chop it maybe 1 1/2 inches make em all wonder if'n it was chopped or not. -- SAVE the pieces you cut out of that roof for sure.
There is NO good reason to miss the pileup. I stopped sanding my new baby and went to the show! Altho I did come home early to check on her.
