Tryingto get ready for the Lonestar Roundup in 2 weeks! - I have a 32 Ford with a 390 FE Big Block & an MSD ignition system. I just replaced my Rotor and Distributor Cap because of corrosion under the cap. Now, when it's running, I can hear a t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t. It is the rotor whacking each contact point in the top of the Distributor cap. Is this normal? - My way of thinking was that over a short period of time the contact points would wear down a little so that it wouldn't be an issue...... Do ya'll think this is a problem? Or am I gonna break something? Thank you, Mercman55
well first you missed the new hamber introduction zone by a few feet, and then post your question in the main room,oh and yeah you got a problem, should be no clicking
Sure sounds like you got the wrong cap or rotor. Do you have the old stuff? Check the rotor close to make sure it's the same. Oh, and go do a gay intro. so there's not 3000 greasers with wadded ******* all across the known world. Post this picture. (this is Ben, right) Then post this same question on the "Hokey *** Message Board" section and you'll get some better ideas on a fix.
