You could buy the cadillac and have the garage full, and own two fatlucky's interiors!!!

Wow, so many good ideas! I really like Jeff's idea! :D

Now I have a place to park my car when I come to visit. This whole business about cars living outside is crazy! ;)

    I'm thinking wagon

    I can't afford TWO Fat Lucky interior'd cars.:p

I did not see it but I got a few PM's about it. A couple of HAMB pals are sending me their copies.

Actually there won't be any cars parked in the garage for most of the summer as I'm going to empty it, insulate, drywall and install the old cabinets that just came outta my kitchen. A whole garage makeover.

You can keep big olds at my house, with the keys so I can keep the air in the tires rotated :)

That is one cool transporter that they used to haul your old one away. My wife gives me a hard time now for dragging a car home every now and then. I would be divorced in no time with the amount of stuff that would end up at my place with that thing.

Nice try but I'm keeping him in California for the rest of the year. I'm driving him out in May. I'll fill ya in on the details next month when I see you for Mini-Bike Madness.

I'm sure Rusty Olds was hard to let go.

I heard that the car was impounded by Customs in Brisbane when they found the trunk full of chocolate chip cookies

I could see that project finished in one big work day. How about a party starting early some Saturday morning, doing the remodel as the day wears on, a couple of BBQ's going for brats and burgers, coolers filled with non alcohol bevrages (until late in the afternoon, then phase in the booze) followed by you taking us all out to dinner. Pick and choose any of the formentioned to make a day to remember in the continuing remodel of your humble abode.

Giday Denise, at least if he decides he doesn't want it, mind you I don't think that will happen I just might have to buy it off him. Although I am sure he will do the car proud.
I have to find an old car to dump in his frontyard one day because I told his wife he needs a donor car and her first thing was well there aren't going to be any wrecks laying around in my yard, hahaha, they are going away for a week over Easter and I will be passing through their area.....so I am going to organise a wreck to be dropped in the front lawn hahaha, and I will not answer my phone but will have it organised to be taken away the day after they get home.
Tracey will go off lik ethere is no tomorrow when she see what is planed, Gary will see the funny side and Trac will be onto me like a rash hahaha.

Denise, we spotted "Rusty Olds" yesterday. I and a couple friends drove from Rolla to Joplin, Mo. to pick up a 57' Chevy pickup I bought. "Rusty Olds" was sitting on the rear of a car hauler parked just off I-44 near Strafford (between Marshfield and Springfield, Mo). Just thought you'd like to know. Sam

Talk about them being hard as a rock upon arrival.

I read your comment to my friend Scotty who's been helping on my kitchen remodel. He said "ONE DAY" and started laughing hysterically.:D

Make it a mid 80's Nova/MonteCarlo with the good bits still attached.;)

OMG! You are so funny!! [IMG]

I was wondering if anyone was going to spot him traveling across crountry. Strafford is exactly where the driver lives. He's probably waiting for another load.

Got word today that Rusty Olds arrived in Queensland Australia last Thursday and was picked up by the new owner. Almost exactly 3 months to the day he left Livonia Michigan.

Gary, the new owner, is thrilled with his purchase and plans on doing a "smooth and sweet" ride.

Gary had to take the front bumper off he said to fit the car on the trailer.

Seems customs for whatever reason decided that Rusty Olds didn't need his value stems....they were all missing.

Finally sitting in his new "shed"

It looks like Rusty has found himself a pretty nice "shed" to reside in. Looks like a good deal all around.
