"Run of the mill", "average Joe's '32 back in the day".......................yea, right. That would have been a topshelf car for a street driven ride even back in the 80's let alone "back in the day". Congrats, well done. Oh yea, the wife isn't too bad on the sewing machine either.:)

I talked to a guy at the motorama yesterday that said he bought a 32 roadster in the mid fifties, picked up an olds and got a jc whitney adaptor and a 39 trans and dropped it in the car, yanked of the fenders and had fun, he said my car reminded him of his old car alot and he loved it, cool guy.

Hey Jeff -- If this is so "simple and straightforward" how come we don't see more cars as nice as yours? There's also stance, proportions, attention to detail, etc etc -- and you've nailed 'em all. Great work man, congrats to you and your family.

I was checkin' out the pics & was thinking "man , nice ride" - then my daughter ('bout a year & a half old) said "Daddy , the car is red !" ... so I guess it gets HER vote too , lol !

Awsome job as allways Jeff! But you did forget to mention that you put the car together in like 10 days!!! I was joking to some of my buddys at the World of wheels that it was the "walk on water coupe" cause it was so damn amazing how fast you work!!

That's pretty much the definition of hot rod right there. Bright red fenderless roadster with a v8 and a stick shift. NICE

Great job on the roadster Jeff, your wife did an outstanding job on the interior and Sacie's pinstriping is icing on the cake. Hope to see it at 50's if you can hang on to it that long. :)

Very nice car. For your first finished car your miles ahead of the rest.... I wish any of my cars had come out as nice, let alone the first one

Does it really have a '36 trans???? If so, you might want to keep your eyes open for a '37 though '39. It's a better trans and easier to find parts for.

I have two 39 boxes (one stock one with zepher gears) but am saving them for more well suited projects, the 36 trans was in awsome shape and shifts great, i dont plan on beating on it too much so it should hold together, it even stays in second gear, unike alot of its brothers!
