Here’s my Son in his 40’s now doing stuff that makes me cringe. I should also say that’s my garage at my house. 7DFED37A-4539-4F8D-BC58-6C676E91586B.png 71E50614-04F9-4C12-919A-34077AE27602.png 7D42D1CD-B061-4093-BBFE-34574813A919.png 270FEDBE-EFDC-4EEB-8067-C2E732752F6E.png C6465D75-B4B3-4895-B8E9-F4842F35D6DD.png ABE447C5-BA51-4FE8-B392-92D89F0B6271.png

I do have to ask who taught him the right way to do this, that he is choosing to ignore?

get him a slide hammer for his birthday, usually all you need to do is put the drum on inside out loosely thread the lugnuts on and use it as a slide hammer....

I’ve showed him to drum slide hammer trick. As for getting a slide hammer, there’s one at the house.

Just to be clear, his Uncle did not advise on this one. So let’s just say family genes are real.

Sure and then nail the strap to the other side door jamb for extra strength, what could go wrong?

How does that help door king post’s and wall stud’s from ripping away from soul plate?

At least he didn't attach the strap to the mini bike, rev it up, then pop the clutch...he might have hit that curb outside and had an accident.

  22. You’re right Johnny,,,,that is a dangerous looking little mini bike .
Without proper supervision and training,,,,,who knows what might happen .

    Oh,,,,wait a minute,,,,,you’re talking about the axle puller .
    Well,,,,,,monkey sees,,,,monkey does .

  23. Funny thing is the amount of force he had to put on that ratchet strap would have been astronomical compared to a slide hammer , or drum trick or even tapping the back of the hub with a hammer .
heck I’ve even done a bastardized “slap hammer “ with a weight and a chain wrapped around the hub and just give it a couple good slaps .

Welp , coulda been worse I guess .

Get yourself a beer, go up on the back porch, dial 91 with your finger on the last 1 and wait for the crash. If there's no crash, go get another beer for your son and tell him, "You scared the shit out of me, you know?".

Mini bikes, that’s a horror story of another type with bad results and he lives with the damage done to him every day. But as you all see, there’s still mini bikes in his life.

I'm betting he's an engineer? I've needed to move a car sideways in the shop a time or two, and this looks way easier than the rolling back and forth method.

He does some pretty wild modifications and up grades to street, highway and airport striping equipment for the contracting company that services nearly 2/3’s of California where he works.
