My sons First car build by himself

My son just took 2nd place in state for this mailbox he built me out of 1/8in plate. I'm so stoked I can't waite to put it up. Look at the pics and tell me what you think. Be easy guys this is his first year in welding cl***. We are building his 51 shoebox now for him to drive next year to high school.

I have a bunch of stuff my son made when he was little in my shop. He now is a Journeyman Metal Fabricator . Your son is on his way!

Nice! And I dig the way he "hid" the flag in the window...makes me want to build a cool mailbox...go to the Post Office, get it approved and put that ****er out front!...

Thanks guys. I 'm going to put it on a steel post. He is going to build another one for my brother. I think he's on to something, he might build them and sell them at the swap meets....
