Yeah but there's nothing else radical about it. It's basically a "stock" Model A body with some fins stuck on it...for no reason at all.

    Jack...It wasn't finished that's why I asked...:)

Lots of Hotrod/Customs had stuff done for the wow factor only...purpose built wasn't a factor here...

  5. A model A coupe hull missing the Qtrs came up for sale a few months ago.
Should have grabbed it. I’ve got a crappy 59 Chevy deck lid.
    Dang it

Maybe it was a pickup conversion...

  7. Possible.
But would have been the perfect kustom candidate

@gimpyshotrods hows the wild thing coming along...Your Avatar will never go out of style, just make one want to see more...have you have a conceptual Artwork of it...with metal work like that you are truly an Artist...visually are you trying to nail something early to mid 60s...maybe 58, 59...quads were in...;)

It's a Natural for the Art and Hotrod/Custom...

It's under a tarp in the shop. I had to put it in the back so I could make some money.

I am an expert stick figure artist. That's as about as far as my fine art skills go.

I am just going with the flow when it comes to what visually fits. I plan on laying out the perimeter of the body and building the remainder of the chassis to fit it in September, if all goes well. Once the passenger compartment and the nose are framed out, I will see what strikes my fancy.

I also would like to know how this turned out. I kind of like it.

  14. Not my cup of T, or cup of A for that matter. They sure built some different stuff in the 60’s. There mom, I didn’t say anything bad about it.
