Great project, Jimmy -- it looks just like the original. I really like your detailed photos. I saw the car in Ventura, California, last year. Keep up the great work!

Thanks, I was waiting for an Aussie to say that. :D

Thanks Kent, I am really looking forward to seeing the original at Pebble Beach in August.

Cheers dodgord. It is LHD because of the exhaust and I wanted to have LHD.

Jimmy B - I was working on a '29 Chev roadster when I found some c4s, then some '24-'25 cowls. a month ago I was was at a swap meet and found a coupe rear section. This week the three port. needless to say the '29 is on hold. these bangers get a-hold of you. I've been inspired by what you've done.

Beautiful work. Congratulations on your perseverance

  14. Unfortunately no, I am going to the US in August for Pebble Beach and Bonneville so by the time I get back I will be piss poor broke. That said I would love to trailer the roadster down for Chopped if the budget allows.

    Thank you!

Your build is an insperation to me to get on with my projects.

When I see someone like you who starts with peices of rust held together with rust that can make a car as nice as yours it makes my projects look like something that you can just bolt together.

I admire your patience and fortatude to stick with a build like yours.

I am a little ashamed to admit that I stall out on my project too often because of paper giants that I imagine are blocking my progress.

Usually when I forge ahead I find that everything works out way better and easier than I imagined they would.

I hope others see what I have seen and are also as incouraged to move ahead on their projects as I am.

Good job. Keep up the good work.

    :) :) :) **** :) :) :)

  16. A little update I will finish painting ch***is tomorrow and ***emble car back together early next week before I leave for the US.

Awesome, Jimmy. I had no idea of the condition of the parts you started with, how did I miss that?

    Really well done!
