i hope everyone likes this. i went to arizona to pick up this basket case willys 8 years ago. flew out with $27,000 in my sock, bought a used chevy suburban rented a trailer and towed it home. it had a 327 with blower and it ran ! it had the wheels and tires on it in the picture too ! it didn't drive, but it was cool. it sat for 5 years and then finally i got going and finished it. it's a 1939 body with a 1941 front clip. it had a rough life but i was lucky to get it. here's some pictures of my restoration. it has a 392 hemi, 671 blower, torque flight, '57 ford nine inch, 4.30 gears
Any issues with the suburban on the way back ? I'm sure you got plenty of looks and slept in the burb to thwart would be thieves.
