Nobody here thinks some of those TV shows could be fake do you? I am sure all that reality shows are exactly as it happened.
You don't think the people on the reality shows notice the cameras, sound equipment, directors, and other TV production people do you?
It was a big Spoof! and ya know spike TV must have made great sums of money for the air time... Bobby got good exposure & I was overwhelmed that my old tank was picked for the Drive.....Most of the High Dollar finds have to be planted for the Wow factor Oh Well At least people who don't know ,that might have some type of old Collectible might bring it forth.......Reality TV. What will people dream up next Ol Deuce....
Now ....I think those Reality shows are as phony as the guy that thinks them up.....They must get a fat pocket book from it all Ol Deuce
Did you guys see this President's Corner: I like to call the time between the last lakes meet in November and the first in May "Tweener Time". It's when you get to recover from being burned out after the last race of the season to when you realize about January that you have four months to go before you can start having fun again. Besides spending lots of time in the garage and wishing you had a few more thousand bucks to buy some new race parts you actually get to sit down and review all the stuff you said you were going to get to but never did. A good example is Randy Mead's recreation of Bill Burke's "Sweet Sixteen" lakester. When I first saw the shots of his build (Click for Image RM-1 through 3) I said wow and then got sidetracked and before you knew it months had slid by. He spent tons of time collecting info and parts to to make it as authentic as possible so here they are to show you what a great job he did
Hey Randy whats the "presidents corner" from? I have to get some input for a steering solution to a Moonshiners build. I'll send you some pics.

Just out of curiosity are those old tanks hard to find. I know where one is laying in a pasture. I always thought it was part of an old pontoon boat. Damn thing is aluminum but like 20 ft long. I dont have any pictures but was olive drab green with a gray color stenciling with USArmy on it and numers.
