It was about tuning the carb in my 1968 Camaro... ***led something like "Carb tuning help in Austin TX"

The thread is gone.. where did it go?

I suppose I may have violated some sort of rule... but I'm not sure what.

The fact it was about a 68 Camaro is probably the reason. This site is dedicated to traditional cars built prior to 1965.

Ask your question about how to tune the same carb on the same motor in a 55 Chevy and you'll get some answers.

Why is it that seemingly no new members bother to read the rules? Maybe they should have to sign off on them before letting them post.

Had you just said "Need help tuning the carb on my 327" it would have been fine. :D

Well... my time here was brief. But I'd like to go ahead and extend a hearty thank you to those of you who helped with my thread. The sound was indeed caused by the mufflers. The new mufflers do not have the tata-tata-tata sound at all.

I'll go back to lurking mode... The wealth of knowledge here is immense and I'm happy to be able to tap into it.
