I had a thread asking about frame oppinions and it was deleted after a day and they sent me a message that said it was deleted and in the reason why it was blank, i read al the rules and didnt see anything i did wrong other than my screen name having the name ratrod in it and the rules say no ratrod posts. and if my thread was deleted for this reason id like to know.

What kind of frames were you talking about?

I don't know what happened but this can be a strict place.
The cubic information available here obliterates any notion of being picked on. There's nothing or nowhere else like it.
    Try again! Don't get mad..

Didn't it mention S-10, if so that's why it was deleted.

Yes i mentioned late model frame being like a s10 or c10 or similar or custom built frame for my 58 apache project. If it was deleted cause i mentioned s10, im sure there are dozens of other members running s10 frame swaps on there older trucks, which would mean they are not welcome to talk about there projects as well. Kinda rediculous i think.

If you don't like the rules, find a new place to play.

Lol i read the rules and respect them on this site but i wasnt aware if you put a late model frame or even custom built new frame under a 58 apache it will make it a late model truck. Guess you can only buy/sell and talk about parts made in 1965 or earlier or thread will be deleted:confused:

S-10 frame swaps are not traditional. Of course you didn't do yourself a favor when you joined up with a screen name that included ratrod.

  10. Kind of like the guy who has marijuana stickers all over his car and is wearing a shirt with a big pot leaf on it wondering why he is always getting h***led by the cops.... Some people partake in **** that others find stupid, but, they get by by not making a spectacle of themselves. :)

Yea creativity is really frowned upon here, you can only use 50+ year old ideas... :(

Ive done 2 years of reading before joining the site, main reason i joined was every time id do some searching for info on past projects this site would pop up time over time. So i decided to join the site to get info and input on projects and it never crossed my mind these ppl on this site look at the word "ratrod" as a curse against humanity since 95percent of my projects were ratrods. But then again i see a ratrod as a unrestored older vehicle thats reliable and drivable and fun, im just wondering what this site sees a ratrod as? Guess the only thing to say here is ill learn from my mistakes and move on.

    Sorry to disappoint.

Hopefully you will find more happiness elsewhere.
