My wagon is laced......

  1. I'm guessing the big trick is to NOT saturate the lace with paint?
How many light coats did it take?

It took 4 light coats of this particular color. You have to spray it at a very low psi and spray straight into the lace, not at an angle. You don't want paint going under the lace, only through it. It was the exact opposite of sunny today, but I shot a few pictures anyway. I'll post em' as soon as I get em cropped and resized.

Heres some crappy pics from today. I'm having problems with the damn windsheild trim, the long top piece does not want to stay down, the clips aren't locking it in and I almost lost it while driving home. I would have if it hadn't have starting whistling like a mofo!

Anyway, here they are. Start colorsanding and buffing tomorrow.....

I think 3 yards will do it, ask your wife, she'll understand what I mean. Let me know what shipping is.

I talked to the wifey, and the lace was $6 a yard. So if you want us to pick you up some, shoot me a pm and I'll give you our paypal info.

Got a few more pictures today since it was sunny. It's REALLY hard to get pictures of the ice pearl without it glaring the camera out, but I did th ebest I could. The stuff gives you a headache if you look at it long!
