My wife says the HAMB is like.........The Abyss. However, she is always on that Facey-spacie thing, so I guess we're even.

 

First, Mctim, you have a beautiful young lady there...now send her over, I need a Hamb intervention...J/K you never touch another man's wife or his hotrod....

Second, this is not Facebook, cause no one is posting things like:

"Gah, my life sucks, the Hole world is against me!"
"I hate it when you bend ovr backwards fer a "friend" and they stab you n the back, people suck!"

etc etc.... you get the idea. Besides, Ryan would ban us for THAT much drama....

Ditto...I like to take it a step further and tell her some of the cool stuff I'm seeing / learning on the HAMB...her eyes glaze over...she smiles...then back to facebook or pogo....

 

My wife has learned to accept it but she thinks of my project as "the other woman". All in all, she's pretty supportive though.

A couple of years ago another HAMBer posted that his wife referred to the HAMB as Husband's Automotive Mistress Bitch. I read that to her at the time and she got a laugh out of it. She still brings that up on occasion. Hmmm...

My wife just signed up today, she loves old cars so she looks at the hamb too.

 

My wife gives me a hard time for being on the hamb at least once a day...... She will have to get over it...... I tell her the only normal people left in the world hang out on the hamb!!!!

Yes it is!!!! But, it keeps me out of trouble! Till I go EBay shopping for a Hot Rod part I just saw on the HAMB!

 

Being single the only voices I hear are the ones in my head. I do my best to ignore them and keep on doing what it is that I like to do.

 

I usually just get a roll of the eyes and then I can catch her on the facebook on the laptop....not much she can say then. lol

 

Well we must have a ground wire, as Hamb, a few can understand and maybe are less, some as dexleo2 are lucky, the problem is when one spends a little family money in your car, then heard her scream... will become a member of any club to get out of my house, but still I have no wife...

 

My wife also calls the HAMB Facebook for guys, oh well it could be worse.

 

My wife likes the old cars, hot rods, and even the pinups, therefore she tolerates me getting on the H.A.M.B.......SCORE FOR ME!!! Now she just wants me to get off my ass and finish her 56 desoto(small price to pay)

 

If it was like Facebook, you'd read about guys getting forced butt sex after going to look at a cherry '55 Chevy, for sale at $1,000.
