It worked OK, it wore out quicker than what I thought it would. But if it's larger flat areas, it's perfect, not aggressive, doesn't leave a deep scratch like a wire brush. So it's a toss up I guess. So if you want to do the bottom side of your car, I think it's great for that, if you want to do small things stick with the wire brush. Sent from my SM-N920V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Nice find, great score! My project is a '52 Chevy panel but I really love the pre-war stuff. You're on my watch list.
Hey, Paint Guru; "One of my friends said to start having paint cl***es and make people work on it!" Absolutely not! You ALLOW them to gain skill(s) (guided by you in cl***) by hands-on-practice on the truck. . I can also see a long detailed write-up on the HAMB, & later the full video version on DVD, of "How to do paint properly: everything from type to color selection/consideration to application & final-finish" AKA :"How to do paint at home & stay out of Paint-Jail w/o going broke" . The idea of either brokering or operating a good body shop (or 2, or more ), is actually a good one. Sounds like a franchise-idea being born. Since your wife is busy, guess the next in line are the kids? . Do like & appreciate the paint related info you put on here. Thanks so far. Marcus...
