I don't know Eric. Don't forget that my body started life as a touring car.
I just used the cowl and front doors then built the rest. :D

  2. If you don't have it sorted by the 9th of August I can take a look at it with you.:cool: JW:D

  3. A lot will also depend on what front cross member was used on all our cars, mine is standard A, but 28-9 had different mounts to 30-1. Not sure what mine is. JW

Bob built a perfectly flat cross member for this chassis.

This little hot rod is totally Bitchin in person. Got to go up and have a look on New Years Eve. Love the color combo. Lots of Bullshit exchanged that day. Thanks Daddio and Bob for the tour :) This ride will be awesome when it is done.

 No, that would be ridiculous.
But if you were to ask Eric, he would tell you himself that my build inspired his. And that what I did with my front suspension including the crossmember was a part of that.
It would help in the future if you know what has gone on before you comment. :p :D:D

Thanks Mike! Larry is a buddy and we tease each other. Can't say he's the reason for the flat cross member as that's what we do to get cars low, but his spring behind was definitely inspiration for this build.

  14. Your car is coming along nicely Daddio! And thanks for the idea on locating holes. That was ingenious!

Looks better, the test will come when she is sitting on the tires at ride height.

  17. That looks great and yes, at ride height will be the true test. Put a straight edge on it then use a spirit level and measure down to the chassis, that will tell you exactly what the fall is. JW

  19. Wait. You didn't really change anything, did you! All that is is a different camera angle, right? ;):p:Do_O:D

No, it really is lower! I'll tell y'all how much (a funny story) later when I can take pics and add a description. No updates today, went coyote hunting with two of my sons.

Whoever thinks a 65 Mustang radiator in an A grill shell is a good idea please raise your hand. Now use it to slap the shit out of yourself.

  27. I like stories and funny ones especially. I do believe there is a chap over here (Graham, kiwirodder) that has one in his A shell, should I tell him or do you want to?:D JW

Coyote hunting ? You should be hunting wabbits :D And you need to be vewy vewy quiet :)

And now you know why I bought a new Mustang radiator and then sold it still in the box and ordered a new custom made Griffin rad. :D:D
And I didn't have to slap myself at all. :)
