Y'all talk kinda funny down there. No worries, I travel a lot so accents are no problem. What I always find funny is that everyone I meet seems to have an accent. I don't. Anyone else ever notice that? [emoji12]

England invented the language, the Yanks perfected it.

Unfortunately, the modern generation has perverted the language through texting, twitter, social media and political correctness.

The really sad part of that is that you might actually believe it. :D

The English language exists in many forms and none of them are very pure anymore. :)

Eric... Your front brake shoes are on backward. (anchor pins at the bottom, leading shoe is the working shoe. Also note the dia of the wheel cyl.: large diameter forward, correct. LARGE lining shoe also goes to the front.
This is not a Bendix brake.
Just thought I'd mention it before the drums go on...Uh, oh... Looks like the drums are on...

A few weeks ago I took a few hours to get a few more things wrapped up. Nothing exciting, but I made templates then panels for the trunk.

Today I'm back to the cardboard template sizing up the hidden fuse box. Wiring today and tomorrow!

  18. Thanks Eric and another for finding that 65 Mustang for Mandy. We did just under 4,000 miles in total. hanging with you and seeing both T.s was just the coolest and I now see why you are so busy. Sure looking forward to the 1st drive video. Its fathers day here today and we are taking the RPU to the show at the Drag Strip up the road for its last outing before teardown and finish. Would have been cool to hang with you and Bob for longer.... next time. Stay cool and make progress.:cool::cool::D Jeremy

  19. Oh no, not another belly button in NZ Jeremy ? I think we would have more early Ponies here in New Zealand per head of population then America now.

Don't worry, I'm only jealous of your trip and the fact that you have seen and driven on some of the great American roads.

  20. Its the same reason people like 32's, they are very nice. In 3900 miles I only saw two pre 70 Mustangs on the road in the US, maybe they are all over here. Hows your T, Marc? JW

Not done, but close. This took a lot more time than I'd like to admit!

I heard that Mustang is SUPER nice! Wish I'd been able to see you guys when you came back through and bought it!

  22. You are making progress and that's good. Yes is very nice with only a bit of work on the 3 speed manual, it jumps out of 2nd but that's not an issue for me to fix.
Looking forward to future progress reports. JW

I agree Antii, so it should stay pretty well hidden. Thinking about painting the cover and hand lettering the fuse slots.

Carbs are rebuilt and the generator is mounted.

They're waaaaay back in the thread. I'll see if I can dig it up for you, but it's custom built on top of the engine mount. I wanted it down low and out of sight rather than up front and in-yo-face.

Thanks Blue, made from scratch. I made a few card stock templates and basically just wanted to see if I could do it. Guess I can! [emoji3] [emoji3] [emoji3]
Hell yes! And I haven't even started stringing wires yet! Actually, I do low voltage (phone systems, VoIP, CAT6, school intercoms) for a living so I enjoy wiring stuff like this.
