Sorry to hear about this.. prayers to your mother, you and your family.
From the amount of posts here it shows how liked you are among your peers ... you can rest assured she did a great job raising you and your brothers. Be with her and enjoy the time you have along with the good memories of the past.
My mother just got diagnosed ... so this is a life changing thing for me also.

 

Thoughts and prayers are with you. Lost my mom Jan. 1998. It's never easy. Keep your chin up, I'm sure your mom doesn't want you to make a big fuss over her... that's how mom's think. Always concerned about their kids.

 

Your mom and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I lost my dad nine years ago to cancer and still miss him all the time..

 

You're a good man Skipper, keep Mom comfortable, spend as much time with her as you can, best wishes mate, CraigR

 

having the same experence with my mom, she loving with motorcycles in the house and race cars in her parking spot God bless your family

I lost my Mom at 7:00 this morning and the Angels of God are watching over her now. This thread has showed my family that we are not alone in these matters and that Hoodlums have huge hearts. They are overwhelmed. Thanks again everyone.....Mark Skipper

Sorry to hear Skipper, I'm glad you got to spend the last days with her no matter how bitter sweet it was.

 

She was obviously a good mother as she taught you what caring is. You are there for her when she needed help in the exact same way she was there for you when you were young and helpless. There is no greater example of love than this. Your efforts will serve as an example of what good people do; They take care of family. I watched my mom die from lung cancer. It was painful to see her pass, but a relief to see her out of pain. Time heals all.
