Car looks pretty well engineered. Any marks on the engine/transmission?

a hemi is the size of the car! lol ..the engine is not the one that came in the car ...in fact when it was found it had no engine or transmission ..the engine I got with it is a 1200cc Austin engine (has "Austin" cast into the block) which looks like a standard BMC engine to me

    Hello,
No doubt that it has ch***is of Topolino, probably Model-C - maybe wheels and head-lights, too!
All other could be gathered here-and-there or hand-made...
    Ciao,

... I would be satisfied with something up to 40-50 HP!
Most of Italian specials from late forties and early fifties had such power, if they were based on Topolino ch***is and mechanics! The best if it is some small FIAT engine, to be in the same style and spirit: old FIAT 600d engine of 25 HP (tuned up to 35-40HP), or later from FIAT UNO with 45-60 HP...
With brother or alone, I tried that twice, but...

Of course anything should be good, depending of builders choice... However, anything more powerful should need new or highly modified ch***is, suspension, steering, transmission, wheels, tyres – result: probably quite good American style hot-rod (street-rod, rat-rod?)...
