    Tilt ray, Guide points to General Motors. There seems to be no traces of chrome. I would start looking at trucks approx. 33-36.

    Those '36 back trucks had a little larger, flatter lens. These lenses look like '37 - '39 GM pass cars, but the bucket is industrial or truck … many independent makers used Guide equipment. Maybe check out Minn. - Moline UDLX tractor, but I think they had chrome rings ...

    The wierd thing is they have a socket for a signal light or something inside?

    Possibly for a ‘parking light’........I seem to recall seeing a low watt bulb being used in the headlamp bucket for that purpose prior to adoption of sealed beam units.
