These were included in a lot of parts that were all listed for a 1960 Ford. The seller assured me they were for a Starliner but I have never seen anything like them before. Any ideas?
Aftermarket, maybe Yankee or US Pioneer brand. That's why the tilt is adjustable at the bottom, to make them fit onto whatever. Side mirrors were optional in the 50's and 60's and aftermarket mirrors were common. Those are a cool design, would look neat on the car but is not correct for a restoration.
They're not going on the car (I have the originals) but I agree they are cool. One could put an eye out with them though.
Damn, put those things on and people would have a hard time noticing the rest of the car. They are definetly attention grabbers. I always wonder if in 50 years people are going to be paying big bucks for vintage spinner hub caps, stick on air vents, and coffee can mufflers?
