Mystery paint can

Anything happen like this to you guys. Brand new paint can full of paint. The lid blew off like a missle the bottom of the can distorted. Its in an air conditioned room in my house. Out in the open on a shelf.

 

??? That's a fine looking can to me ????

 

It says right on the can it's "HAMMERED"

 

never. I wanna see a picture of the mess it left!

 

I've used that very paint.
Great results. No problems.

I remember hearing about a recall of that product several years ago but it was the Rust-Oleum aerosol cans due to a potential manufacturing defect where the bottom could detach, causing the can to explode and possibly causing injury. HRP

 

I saw that happen on a TV show it was called Bourne iden***y. Run

I got a half can of that stuff left out in the garage. I thought it was a party drink.....?

 

No mess. The lid just popped off onto the floor.

 

Can’t be any worse than iwanaflattie’s rattle can adventure. I think of that one every time I clog up a paint can:
