I bought an old storage unit today with various car parts inside. This front end part has me stumped as far as make/ model its off of. I'm not really savvy on old machines so a jalopy collecting buddy of mine told me I could get an answer here. Any insight into the attached photo would be greatly appreciated. I have additional photos if another angle is needed. Thanks.

It's upside down, but it shows the wide lower bolting pattern. Maybe someone will know.

A pic of it sitting upright should help.

The skinny top, makes me say mid 30s to late 30s. No clue on make

Since you say that it dang sure is obvious its upside down. Don't have an upright pick but this view may help. Thank you.

It is called a radiator support. You can see the 6 bolt holes to hold the rad.

I am not sure on the year now. Those wings at the top could hook to a wider set of fenders, even a truck. Could be a lot newer than mid/late 30s

Anyone else out there have any ideas I would appreciate it. I hate to see this part go to the junk iron pile as I can't help but think someone might actually need or be looking for this part. Thanks

it's 47 - 54 Chevy truck only, GMC cores drop down more where they bolt to the frame.
