I don't know anything about cars but old ones have always appealed to me. On my bike ride to work I p*** this wreck in the woods and finally went in one day with a camera and took some snaps, hoping someone could identify it. I had looked at it about a year earlier, when there was still a center ****on or cap in the steering wheel with what looked like a "V" logo. That was the only identifying mark and now it's gone. Any guesses? Four images.

36 Ford cars are popular, and there's a lot of very decent pieces left on that car, like the dash, firewall, front doors would fit a 5W coupe with a bit of work I believe, windshield frame and crank/hinges, lots of small bits. A very motivated person can make a coupe out of this body with some donor rear quarters and trunklid. You could make a few bucks on this parting it out if the owner would let you take it or sell it real cheap. If the rear wishbones are in it yet and not all rotted under there, those are also a desirable bit I believe.
I would pull the whole carcase out of there and then eval. Maybe turn you into a hotrodder and get you away from them bikes !
Wow! You guys are impressive--got those first few replies about one minute after I posted. My guess is the last owner of this vehicle is long past knowing or caring what happens to it. I admit it would be a lot of fun to take it for a spin someday, but I don't the time, skill, or motivation to make it happen. However, if one of you gearheads wants to get your hands dirty on it, I can tell you that it's in Weston, MA, along the M*** Central Rail Trail, about about a quarter-mile west from where you enter beneath the Concord Road bridge. There's a house on a nearby hill that could have some connection to the car but probably not. I expect the owners and/or the town would be happy to have someone clear it out of there. Thanks a bunch for satisfying my curiosity.
Now, THIS is a post that deserves kudos. With directions, yet! Hope there's someone in the neighborhood with a winch and a trailer...Looks like doors all have window mechanisms, and I'll bet there's a pair of rear wishbones. Front axle is definitely worth it. I saw a '36 4 door 'trunk-sedan' made into a Phaeton, man what a Head Turner! Tonneau over the back seat, looked slick. Afterward, they cruised by with 2 little kids in the back seat. Luxury ride...
Spare wheel mount for a wide 5 was the big give away for 36 n0t a 35. But i have seen many 35's with the X on the cowl. JW
Concord rd. to the right. I'm guessing the '36 in question is in that wooded area right off the tracks! Someone needs to go scavenge some parts!
