Technical Mystery vacuum switch/button on lower dash of 1947 Fleetmaster

I wish I'd kept my old 48 coupe. Only rust was below the tail lights. They look so pretty when you lower them down.

My '47 is almost too rusty to fool with.... I wish I still had all the cars I owned. You tend to forget the bad and remember the good. I admire people who have a bunch of cars - wish I could do that! And the car in the pic behind the Chevy - what is that????

 

Yeah, and all that crazy living produced one ugly child your wife is holding there.

 

I can't prove anything, but I think she was "boinking" Ed Roth at the time...

 

I'm pretty sure that has to be on for that 327 Flywheel to line up on the other thread.

 

Caster may be a small angle, but it has a big effect on steering effort. Go too far positive and you have hard steering.
