Well, she's home. For those who didn't follow the saga: I'm from the east coast & moved to Seattle two years ago. My dad and I started work on this thing a while back. I finally saved up enough money to get it painted and shipped. Well, the shipping company trashed the hood, passenger front fender, and door in transit. Pissed! The good news is that they payed for the repairs. The details: -56 Victoria -292 w/ a four, headers & duals -Three on the tree -Dropped three up front w/ spacers -Dropped five out back w/ shackle move & blocks -Nosed & decked & bumperettes removed Just need to get her striped & a few little things and that should be it...for now...I hope...
[ QUOTE ] Anthony, Youre the man! When we going for a ride????? -J. [/ QUOTE ] As soon as I can save up enough money to get her registered & insured Definitely w/ in the next month.
Mytol, that is one sweet looking Vicky. I am have a number of neat cars, but I will die a happy man if I ever get me a '56 Victoria. Actually I could have bought one recently but the time just wasn't right, could have been if I had wanted to sell something. Ah well one never knows what is around the next corner!
You need to park that bastard on the grass so the Ballard drunks don't sideswipe ya after all that hard work.

[/ QUOTE ] Just the thought turns my stomach I'm so happy to have it almost done! Boy, lemme' tell ya', it took me damn near half a day to wax the thing. Freakin' land yacht. And to think I haven't even started on polishing stainless and chrome or God forbid, trying to detail under the hood.

[ QUOTE ] sweet! looks like a new car compared to the before pictures, who did you end up using? Paul [/ QUOTE ] Thanks for the kind words. I used Rillo's Restoration down in Kent. They did a very good job...but they were pricey. Pretty much on par w/ Byers (sp.?)
