Is 455 cu in from a 1973 a nailhead? From what I can find it appears that a 425 is the largest nailhead. Thanks in advance.

The 455 is a later model big block buick, the nailhead ceased production in 66-67.

  5. FYI the "Nailhead" is easy to identify because the valve covers are vertical, not laid over at the cylinder angle. Also, the distributor is at the rear of the engine, not the front like the later Buicks.
