another "what is it worth" post...i don't like doing this, but i don't know much about nailheads , and i have a chance to get one of these manifolds..after a little googling i have discovered that they are rare and very desirable for the 401-425 engines i checked V8buick.com and the nailhead group on Yahoo , and looked on ebay, they seam to be in demand ..but no where could i find out what they are worth any idea of the value?
They are usually in the range from 700.00 to over 1000.00. This price continues to rise. I am currently in the middle of the mold making process to make anew manifold with slightly better flow than the Edelbrock. This is mostly due in part to the better mold and core materials we have today. I plan to post pics next week of the mold.
As of right now they are the most desireable of all Nailhead intakes. Like everyone said $700 and on up.... Some times they'll change hands a**** the Nailhead guys for as low as $600 but that's it... The last 2 I saw went for $1100 and $900 respectively.... I wouldn't sell it I would build a 401/425 for the manifold to reside on...
