a friend of mine included the following in a recent e-mail message he sent me: "...I got my new nailhead flywheel from Poston's the Buick people. They have someone in California that makes them up for them. It was about $120 and arrived in just a few days. Drilled for a couple of clutch options, one being common Chevy clutches..." i'm****uming that when he said drilled for clutch options he meant pressure plate. but otherwise i thought this information is worth sharing. i know i'm not the only one needing a nailhead flywheel. i intend to have one on order first thing monday morning.
don't know. sorry. here's their website: http://www.postonbuick.com/. it doesn't mention the nailheads, but at least the phone # is there.
Atch, if you would, could you ask about the dynaflow/TH400 fitment deal? Would be sweet if they fit both, and helps eliminate one part of the puzzle.
fraz: just got off the phone with them and forgot all about the dynaflow question. we got to talking about other stuff and i just didn't remember. sorry. there phone # is in here: http://www.postonbuick.com/ everyone: turns out i had the price wrong. it's $240 plus shipping. probably will still order one, but at twice the price i'll have to digest for while before i order. you know how that goes. i had talked myself into ordering at one price and when i found out it was more now i've got to talk myself into letting go of more $. i did find out that they are drilled for 10" or 11" bop pressure plates. the guy i talked to didn't think that chevy used the same bolt pattern, but wasn't sure.
Ouchie, that price change does make a difference when it comes to ordering one. I'll call about the dynaflow/TH400 deal when I get a chance. No biggie.
