Nailhead ID

I picked up a 1929 Ford two door sedan this weekend in a junkyard in South Dakota, and the guy threw in a nailhead for $50. The only problem is, I haven't the slightest clue what year/size it is. The numbers cast into the case are 1185484, and that was pretty much the only possible ID number I could find. Can anybody help me out, or atleast point me in a direction that could help me?
