I think my car needs a name, and was wondering if anyone had anything interesting to imput. It's a '50 Ford Tudor, it's going to be clean and low for now, nuthin radical. I was thinkin maybe "La Cucaracha".
Got a picture?? That'll help with the process!!! (Though a name dosen't neccessarily have to reflect upon how a car LOOKS...I named my 49 Chevy "Punch Drunk" cuz I've always thought that was a funky sounding term...and cuz people think I'm goofy in the head!!!)
What about going with a quazi-Native-American naming route? You could let your car "earn" it's name, as you work on it and get to know it. Name it based on it's own unique personality. You know, kind of like giving the car it's own "rite-of-p***age."
"El Guano" Nah, I guess that has already been taken. You gotta admit that name is "The ****" though! Do like me...I would call it "The '50".
It means ugly car. I named one of my bikes "*****" because it seems like I have to pay a fourtune just to ride her. Just a thought.

You need to paint it blue primer and call it "The Blue Suede Shoebox"(tm). That name is available for rent or purchase, email me for details.
Oh my god. You need to go sit in the corner for that one Jake. Is that what they are teaching you up there in lubbock?
Fred, Debbie,Bob, Cindy, Hank, Jim, Wilma, Lou...name it whatevverr you want...it still won't come when you call it. I think naming show cars is cool, but I've never understood naming a "regular" car.
Had a buddy of mine with a "billet" '55 Chevy....called it Heartburn...it's pretty self explanitory....
If your nick here at the HAMB is of any signifigance then you should name it Bill or Wild Bill or Hickok, or if you want Spanish, Guillermo el Feroz.
When I lived in Birmingham, I used to go visit these two OLD black ladies to buy their vintage clothing... they were full of stories. When I went to visit in my 49 Ford when I had just got it, one of the ladies talked about how that was the just like the car her husband (now deceased) courted her in. She just laughed and laughed telling me stories about how he would tell her to get ready cuz he was coming over in ol "Jumpin Judy" to take her dancing. SO my car is named Jumpin Judy in honor of her and her killer stories!
How about Clarence or Alouisious? A car should choose it's own name. Just pay attention, yours will reveal it's true name to you in time.
