Can anyone tell me what steering box this is?
The column has some old looking chrome on it.
    Thanks

Is '32 Ford casting number ther...I believe same box casting was used up to '34, with three variants of the other casting around the sector...location of the three holes varies, as do ratio, shaft length, etc. What frame is it in there?

  3. Bruce is correct!!! (shocking, LOL) I use 32-34 boxes on almost all my projects. They work well and are fairly small. :)

But '32's have three bolts holding it to the frame. Can a Model A sector housing be bolted to a '32 box?

  5. Name it?? I would call it Barry??

    Barry it is! ;)
It is in a boxed Model A frame.
I am a little worried about structural rigidity with the hole cut out. Anyone see this as a problem?

I think I see two bolts, but they are not in line across center...I think it is using two bolts in late pattern of three. Dunno about A sector housing...the late a box is a very close relative of the '32, same design but no big part interchange...never checked on that.
