...is brining me out to Japan to show my artwork this summer in a show he's putting together. He's even offered me to stay at his home and bring me around to all the hotrod shops out there. If you have ever met him in person, you'll know he's a crazy traveling hotrodding manic. His passion for cars and art is like no other, one week he's home in Japan, then next he's in Germany, then surprises us at our Road Zombie BBQ here in the US. Nash is awesome and such very cool and kind person to meet I've always loved Japan, the people and the culture there. I've been there on many skateboarding trips and tours, but never for my artwork! I'm really looking forward to this trip and can't wait to experience the Japanese Kulture, hotrod style this time! Thank you Nash for all your support, putting out such a cool car mag and networking and promoting this hot rod kulture in your own home country. Domo arrigato go ziamas, CAB
when i opened this thread i thought you were talking about a Nash automobile featured in Burnout magazine here's a picture of a Nash for anyone else who was confused
George, Nash is the editor, story writer and photographer his own publication, he "is" Burnout magazine Nice ride though, i used to own a 1959 American Rambler back in the early 90's! cheers, CAB
Congratulations CAB! I used to collect all the Burnout issues until my source dried out... By the way CAB, you might want to check out this thread for old sake's sake: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=274558

Awesome steve! Thats gonna be rad.. I met nash a couple years ago when he shot my friends 33 sedan for the magazine (I was babysitting the car).. Drove him to the airport in it. He is such a cool guy. Very very good people. Have a blast!! take lots of pics for us?
Congratulations! That will be a blast. I agree, the people and culture there are great. (I've been there 3 times for work.) Man, I never put two & two together. Sure, I've seen "Coupe-De-CAB" posts here often enough, I didn't know you were Steve Caballero though. My friends and I skated back then (unfortunately, I was terrible ) One of my friends had one of your boards. Did you do the artwork for them back then?
Have a ball Coupe-De-CAB. I dig Japan, the hospitality, kustom culture and nite life as well as traditional Japanese culture are a blast.
Nash's a GREAT guy and drives a wagon called "The Pussy Wagon". As with anywhere....the rodders here are the BEST members of the society! Nice Timing! After almost THREE years here in Tokyo, That will be my LAST weekend before I go back to Australia.....so I'll have NOOOOO excuse to not drink....let me know when you're gonna arrive and I'll give you the express tour of Tokyo!!!
Nope, all those 80's sk8 decks were all drawn by Court Johnson back in the day ...but i do want to draw my new dragon deck soon if i get the chance too someday! cheers, CAB
The Nash "Executioner" had a dragon on it, but it was a shitty board............never had one, I knew someone who did.
Leaving tomorrow morning! I'm bringing a digi camera with me as well to do a story for Gearhead magazine about the kustom kulture show while i'm there. This is the some of art i'm taking over there to offer to them, hope the dig these small 8 x 10 "giclee" art prints on canvas Blessings and thanks for your support fellas, CAB
