My 1954 Nash Healey dubbed the Farina Corvette Healey by it's builder Roy Stetina in 1960. Powered by Chev 327 with GM TH700R4 auto. Converted to Austin Healey front suspension and 4 link trailing arm rear suspension. Skyline R32 disc brakes. Halibrand 15 x 6 wheels. I imported the car from America to Australia about 10 years ago and it's finally finished.
That ****er gets around. The Nash engine went to England to be installed in a Healy body/ch***is, comes back to the US to be sold, then gets modified, goes to OZ where it gets even more modified/beautified. jack vines
It has been a long road from when I bought it from an adverti*****t on Bring A Trailer described as Nash Healey with needs. Yes Nash did go down the path of the hardest way to make a car.
Thanks, yes it goes very well with loads of power. I built it as a cruiser and it's geared to do 60 mph at 1700 rpm. I look forward to many miles driving it.
Beauty eh! Great color for your Healey, how about some interior and underhood photos? We have Halibrand five spokes on our 67 Nova, I love to set people straight when they ask what size are your Americans.
I agree, the color is perfect. I don't think I have ever seen a coupe before, I like it better then a convertible.
Those rear fenders remind me of a 53 or 4 Willys AeroEagle I had for a brief time in 60 or 61. Another I should have kept.
Not exactly, as the TH700R4 was first available around 1982 and the Nissan R32 around 1989. jack vines
Thanks. I'm very happy with how it came out in the end. I'm missing one of the screw in Halibrand wheel caps if you know of a source. Cheers
Yes as mentioned it has some modern upgrades. I like to be able to stop! the auto is because I'm old and lazy cheers.
