  9. 'T' design?
    O.K.
I need a photo of the tow rig & of Mr. Bell's tudor. All I get is ??? marks where the photos of it were in the 'survivor' thread.

If someone could please post shots of the tow rig & the tudor , that'd be grand, & I can have a go...

  10. Tow rig??? We haven't got that far yet. Well I know the trailer is a long flat car trailer (not a 5th wheel) but I know nothing about the tow vehicle. Squeak has arranged for someone to tow the trailer out there for us but he will be leaving several days before us because he wants to go to Bonneville. Pretty sure we will be leaving on Tuesday from Bakersfield in Squeaks truck with a few other Kiwi's. Should be an adventure.

AWESOME! It will be wondeful to see you again and hang out. Don't forget, if you haven't registered already for the HAMB Drags you need to do that as it's a pre-registration event only. Good luck bud and I'll see ya next month.

Oh yeah, also wanted to mention the HUGE swap meet one hour north of Joplin in Springfield. You certainly want to try to make it there on that Friday.

  18. OK, here is my plan for a T shirt. Kinda funky I know but I like funky. I will put an ad for them in the classifieds. Black and Rust colored ink on a sand colored shirt, printed on the back with small logo on the front left. $20 each plus $5 to ship pritority mail or I can deliver to you if you are going to the H.A.M.B drags. Just PM me if you want one.

  21. Line Loc test!.....yep she's running again, now with brakes on all corners and a locked rear end. The line loc works good but not much smoke, it got traction pretty quickly. I'm out of practice.

The Airheart brakes work great, the rotors are MG that were machined to work on the Willys spindles with new inner bearings. Brackets are home made.

We ended up using the Mallory dual life. One reason being I have spare parts for it , cap, rotor, points, condenser. It still has a miss when you get on it but we decided that it's floating the valves, the revs just come up quick due to the 5.57 gears. Next Saturday we will put in a set of triple valve springs I have and some roller rockers that Perry has.

Some roll bar padding so I don't bonk my noggin too hard in the big wreck.

I'm trading my friend Greg for this Aluminum 55-57 Chevy radiator. Any weight off the front is good in a car like this and once painted black it looks the same as the stock one I was running.

I have done a little fine tuning on the T shirts and they will be 2 color ink and have a small logo on the front. The color of the shirt is sand. Big thanks's to the guys who have already placed orders!

Well those and Kinmonts:).....actually I don't see the lure in Kinmonts especially for the money. These ones that Kev are using are awesome. My buddy mike had a set he was going to run behind 18" Magnesium spindle mounts and I coveted them every time I seen them.

Love the work Kev!!! Are those the other set of Ansen's out back? 8.5" wide like the ones you sold me?

  27. JJ....No they are a pair of funky Rocket mags that were old chrome and I painted the centers. They are temporary for the drags only. I really miss seeing my Ansens/Inglewoods on there!

Oh yeah, I read that on this thread before. I guess I forgot. They look good buddy and the car as a whole is killer. I'm interested to see what times you and Squeak turn in a couple weeks. You guys are going to have a blast.

  29. I will be happy if I get in the twelves. My gearing is all wrong for a 1/4 mile track, more suited to 1/8 mile. I won't have any top end charge. Remember it is a street car, not a race car. I just hope it has a fun launch. I'm sure I will miss a shift or 2. I have installed a soft touch rev limiter but need to buy some chips for it.
