Well I ordered a dual braking setup for my 54 belair from National Chevy and they forgot to send me any instructions with it (though they said it came with them. Well i figured how hard could this thing be to install? So I put it all together and everything seems to fit fine except the master cylinder rod seems to be too long. When i hit the brake pedal it doesnt have very much travel at all. Its like pressing the brakes even when not pushing the pedal. I emailed national chevy and its been about a week and still no reply. Anyone ever installed this setup? Any clue whats going on? thanks alot!
I have it on my wagon, mine didn't come with instructions either and it's been about a year since I installed it. I have plenty of pedal travel though.
