NATS in Burlington VT.

Who is going to Burlington Sept. 18th. to 20th. would like to meet you guys from the northeast and Canada. Lets setup a place to meet, anyone have any ideas?

Wish I was. Burlington is probably my favorite city in America. Just real cool and laid back.

The locals in every town I stop in on my way up through Vt. love hot rods. I drive into Bennington to fill up at Hemmings Sunoco , then to scenic trip up Rt.7 toward Burlington.

 

stop over to the campground on the fairgrounds. we'll be on camping by the tree line. look for a black vicky, a 53 white studie,and a 30 2 door. generally there from 4:30 on. stop and hi.

yup, im going.... i have a 48 buick special, flat black with 3 color gray flames-maine plates --suede48-- will be there all weekend..my buddy has a 48 pontiac -black with no hood ,yellow firewall .we will be close to each other, look us up............................

 

I'll be there with the nomad along with SSFF and his barn find 57'nomad also the crew from ol'55-east coast chevy.

staying at the holiday inn in south burlington. driving up tomorrow at 9am rt7 all the way

 

I'll be there. Usually Dennis O'Brien organizes a "meet and greet" at the NSRA inspection area at noon on Saturday. I'll be there anyway.

Too bad Keith isn't going.I wanted to see his Chebby with paint on it in person. Bummer.

My son has a hockey tournament... Killing me I live 45 minutes south of there and I am dying to make it over... possibility tomorrow night I might be able to run up with Knucklehead... If we do I'll be in the Nomad and he'll be in his 55

 

I am hoping to,but it looks sketchy at this point.If I'm there,I'll look you and Racemad up.
I have decided to give up on Lake George and make Burlington more often.

Cool I got to meet Bob K today and his prettier half... Great to see some HAMB'rs in this neck of the woods...

weather was perfect, more cars than I have seen in years past and the swap meet was pretty picked over... I did score a set of F-100 shock mounts already cut down only to get home and remember that I had 2 other sets.. but hey, it was all in all a great day to spend with my son and my dad... plus since my dad is "officially handicapped" they let us in in the car to cruise around it sure was an easy way to see the fair.

Hey sorry I didn't get to meet you guys i didn't know you had a meet and greet planned. I did get to meet BOB K at the rod repair shop on Fri. walked back to the camp grounds ,could'nt find anybody at home. I won a set of door bear claw latch and activators, trunk latch and lift kit from Rocky Hinge Street and Custom. I didn't stay for Sun. awards had to get home it's a nine hour trip.

 

Hank, it was nice to get to talk to you, congrats on the nice door prize.

We got a Rep's pick but in as much as we had to leave on Sunday morning we gave it up so that somebody else could have it. Great littl show, we had a ball and too much pasta at Papa Franks.
