Great pics man. Thanks for posting. I was there for 3, yes 3, hours on Friday. Left here at 6AM, saw what I could, & made it back with 14 minutes to spare before daycare closed. I saw you & Buckshot cruise through from a distance. The Deuce Fordor body in the swap meet was PERFECT. JH
I wish I had pics of my coupe body. I sold it on ebay it was one of the most solid bodies I've ever seen swappin. I still wish I had that thing. Anyway we drive it all the way down to san diego and all the guy did was bad mouth it. I told him the way it was jabbin his jaw was like talkin about my kids. I let him make the decision to leave it in his garage or load it back up. We loaded it back up and I told him for the price he wouldn't find a nicer body.
1951 Ford caps....need the later model solid wheels with the mounting nubs on the outside of the hub area, not inside like the older wheels.... Brucie
Hey Rodster, congrats on getting kicked-out. Good to see someone that knows how to have fun at an NSRA event. Great pictures , the copper colored 32 tudor is my old car. I especially like the creativity you used to get back in. Can't keep a good man down. Gary
Another funny story, we stayed Friday night at one of my friends' relatives house. To repay her for her hospitality, we got up early Saturday morning and mowed her yard. Apparently my friends don't think I work much, so they took my camera and took pics.....
Thanks for the pics! I suppose you also made up some phony $100 bills so you could go buy an event shirt to mount your new ****on on.
the thing that suprises me most ,,,is not the fact that you are working,,,but the fact that you DONT have a beer in your hand! hhahaaa
Sammmmy!!!!!! Did you go to the nationals? I didnt see you there. Im gonna be pissed if you went and didnt find me. Rodster, great pics man. It was nice meeting you.
Nick,,i didnt get to go,,,and here's why.....long story short,,,you are a young man,,so take my advise,,,when you get married,,make sure you look at the HOT ROD callender first!. i didnt ,and my wedding aniversary is always the weekend of the street rod nats,,which would be ok,,but last year,,i never came home,,so this year i had to make up for it,,,hahahaha
Yep, although he wasn't very elusive last weekend. He made it to both Meet and Greets over the weekend and we had a good time catching up. Those are both Bob Appleman's (Skips***che's Dad) rides in the photo. His little truck was choosen by one of the photographers for a feature and a photoshoot was done on Saturday. Look for it in an upcoming issue in Rodders Digest.
Another story... Horsepower TV spent about twenty minutes filming different shots of Buckshot! Mike Galley and Joe Elmore (the hosts) said it should air in November. Rich
I'd like to see pic of the phony ****on and windshield sticker. After Joe Mayol (sp) said they were going to take the HOT out of hot rodding I have lost intrest in NSRA!
